so for some reason i like posting consistently for all of a week or two and then vanish for months. so here i am keeping up with tradition.
since i have last posted i have been super busy! a lot of art is going on!! paintings, drawings, photographs and recently i have been attempting digital painting.
i have work hanging in the local Starbucks cafe across from aviation mall here in Queensbury for anyone who is a local reading this. and come July i will have a show at the Rock Hill Bakehouse in Glens Falls. i am super excited. i will have thirteen photographs hanging from July 10-August 6 as part of the Glens Falls Art Walk. Please come by and check it out if you are around!!
otherwise i hope to have a new look for the site in the upcoming months. for now enjoy.
thanks,
Philip J.
Hello, hello,
So this week has been pretty awesome for me. Art wise, which is the great news, I have been able to get some of my art that is not photography scanned in and posted. I do realize that some of the images are a little foggy and out of focus but its do to the scanner I have. another factor is the canvas boards, they throw off my scanner and come out blurry. I apologize. But regardless I am stoked to have them up.
Even more excited art news is that I have been accepted to join this juried art exhibition in Glens Falls that I applied for in early December. I will have a showing from July 10th- August 6th at a participating cafe. I will be showing upwards of eight photographs, which are not all displayed on my site here. I am super excited
So that’s the exciting art news. My good news is that i finally got a job
. I will be working for a well known and respected company known as Quad Graphics. Aside from that my girlfriend and I are possibly getting a gorgeous puppy. A toy fox terrier, which we have already, and not so wisely, named Ruby. That’s still up in the air but we will see.
thanks for stopping by and i will continue to post new works, so until next time!

hello hello,
here we are 2011. i have been working pretty hard on some art works lately. i am currently trying to get an art related job at a college in my new area. i am very excited and hoping things go my way!! please wish me luck!!
i have also spent couple hours scanning in some of my art work. its not amazing quality but its okay. i am thankful for the scanner i have. my parents are super awesome and got me a photo printer/scanner for NO reason!! just because they are rad! so as you know these printer are pretty good but obviously not top notch. but that okie dokie i like it better that way. well enough with the ramble, my point is, is that i hope to have some art work posted this weekend. so you 3 or 4 viewers i do have can look at some of my work away from my camera!
i am still hoping for a remodel on the site soon!!! keeping my fingers crossed!
until next time…

hello hello,
so lately i have been painting! i have this wonderful studio space and have been letting my weirdness run free. i currently have a single painting hanging in a local juried show, so i am stoked to have that. there are 70 pieces in the show so i’m happy to be one of them. i hope to go shooting sometime soon but the weather here has been nasty! i’m working on getting some paintings scanned and posted soon, i recently got a new printer so i’m looking forward to getting those up.
i am also planning on remodeling the site here. i hope to have that in the works soon!
also if you haven’t noticed i added a few links of some friends that you should check out. their work is amazing and their minds are steam rollers with plenty of gas! CHECK THEM OUT!
hope everyone is gearing up for the holidays and enjoys themselves!
until next time,

so here i am again…i did not fall off the planet, i have just been neglecting my website for a while. i have been working on some art over these post-less past 9 months. i was busy busy with real world work, while trying to muster up energy and find some free time to take photographs and paint. i have recently quit my job and moved up state with my girl friend. she is an artist, more so than me, and together we created an art studio in one of the spare rooms of our apt. i am in the works of redoing my website with my brother who designed this one. so soon i hope to have a new layout and i also hope to start posting more as well as posting more photographs. heres a couple from the past couple months. and stay tuned for more to come!
