finally got some interesting photos to post while im getting my painting together.

sorry to all of you who have been looking for new work and new blogs. its not that i have been slacking, i have just been all over the place, mentally. i have been busy busy. for the last couple weeks i have actually been focusing on a complete body of work for a portfolio. i am putting my heart and soul into a new body of paintings. i am still sketching up some pieces and trying some new painting techniques but i am hoping to pitch these pieces to a couple different cafes and galleries. but to all of you who like my photography i am grateful and i just want to let you all know that i am still working and trying to shoot as often as possible. i am hoping to have a new barrage of work soon!

hope you all had a great Halloween. i enjoyed myself. i just relaxed, handed candy out to the kids and watch the yankees take the lead in the series.

Hope everyone has been doing well. I have been busy busy, but trying to have a life whenever possible. I figured i would post something new while my french toast sticks are warming up. i haven’t been able to go out at take any photos worth posting. however i have been working on some other art works that am excited about.

I am very pleased with the last group of photos i have posted. i think they came out lovely considering the environment. I was anxious to shoot and i was able to get some of my co-workers to model. it was late after work and we had to improvise. the photos were taken in the corner of an apt living room. the walls were white and we used a couple lamps to light it. i wished i had some descent studio lights but i haven’t had the money to buy them just yet. however the lights worked pretty well. they all had a orange tint which i knew would happen, however i went into the shoot knowing i wanted to produce black and white images and had an idea for post production. most of those images are cropped in camera.  i brought them into Photoshop and did a little work. did a little work with levels, and burning and dodging. overall im excited.

So with work and the deeds of normal life, I have been slacking AGAIN with my posts.

Well here’s an update on my life!

I have been shooting some photos and drawing some sketches for some upcoming paintings and multi-media art works I plain on doing.

I will be posting a couple new photographs soon. I had a recent shoot that was mostly model esc works, but I was able to capture a couple artsy photographs which is my obvious preference.

With the help of my brother I was able to score a gallery in Scranton PA in November. I will be using some of my new photos along with some older works. I am wicked excited!!!

As of now, I am in Oneonta with my gf, relaxing. I will be scanning in some of my  paintings, drawings, and multi media in near future, in order to post them on the site!!

I hope the near future holds some fun and interesting adventures.

HOLY MOLY!  Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, things have been a little crazy. Cali was a blast. Not going to write out the whole trip but  here is cliff noted version on the cliff notes… hung out with pro skateboarders such as Jamie Thomas, Erik Ellington, Jimmy Carlin, Garrett Hill at the black box skate park…witnessed a best trick contest involving Slash, Chris Cole, Jimmy Carlin and others. Skated Venice beach and some street gap on Fairfax street in LA. Had a 5 hour flight delay on the way home but managed to get the last 3 tickets on an earlier flight home. Cali was awesome.

ohh yea i also took a couple photos, but not as many as i wish.

Otherwise life is going well and is hectic. I am looking to move in with my girlfriend in the next 2-3 weeks. hope all goes well with that. And possibly work with another artist up there and possibly land some gallery shows!!

I have a couple wedding photos to post that are done, and I will be working  on some cali photos. I also have couple photos of my dad. He had his shoulder replaced this week and it looks awesome!

so at 650 am tomorrow morning i will be on a flight heading to cali. i am attending a skateboard event held at blackbox headquarters on the 8th and 9th. my friend kellen will be bringing me around la and i will try and get some awesome photos. im excited for the trip and i hope i will have some good photos to post as well as blog stories.

sorry i haven’t posted any eye candy lately for you all to read, but i have had a busy week.  lets start from monday 8/24.

i worked from 3pm-3am.

tuesday i had to run errons in the a.m. and i worked from 2-11.

wed. was my girlfriends 21st birthday and shes in oneonta for school so i was up at 7:30 to head to oneonta. we went to dinner and had a great day!!!

i left oneonta thursday morning at 11 to head right to scranton to meet my brother for a blink 182 concert in jersey. i got to scranton at 2 and we left for jersey at 3. 3 hours later we were sitting in the lawn of the susquehanna bank center in camden nj. THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!!! WEEZER WAS INCREDIABLE AND BLINK BLEW MY MIND!! the crowd was intense. there was a group of teens next to my brother and i getting sick all over themselves and passed out before the show even started. the beauty of underage drinking!!! all young-ins reading this…don’t drink!!!

back to my week…we left jersey a little before 12 a.m. and made it back to scranton around 2:40 a.m.

i left scranton at 9 a.m. friday morning to head back home for work which i had from 1-close, which should have been over at 9:15, however i was at the commons until 11:15 p.m., talking to the state and town police.

as i was leaving work out my backdoor, i ran into 3 people leaving the store next to me. 30 seconds later  the manger walked out bleeding from his head, “we just got robbed”. the store next to mine was robbed at gunpoint. they were thrown in their bathroom and pistol wiped and robbed (CRAZY!). well once i was home i went to bed to get up yesterday for work 11-7:30.

its been a crazy week. I’m bummed i haven’t had time to finish more of those wedding photos and post them, but i will do it. this week should be a little less intense!

sorry its been a while since I’ve posted. i have had a busy couple of days. lots of awesomeness occured though. i am heading off to work now but later tonight i will post the events of the past couple days and an update on what I’m up to photo wise.

So its saturday and its my day off and of course its raining. So my plains of skating and shooting have hit the fan. So far I have spent the day cleaning. The only good thing to come out of all the rain is that I wont miss out on anything while I work on some more of these wedding photos. I will have a handful to upload later today and tomorrow.

In other news, I have a wild week ahead of me. Work until 3am on Monday, work Tuesday, driving to Oneonta to visit my girlfriend, up early on Tuesday to meet my brother in Scranton to head to NJ for a Blink 182 concert, than driving home for an a.m. work shift on Friday. This all followed by work on Saturday, and finally a much anticipated day of on Sunday.

Going to be a crazy couple days.
