Howdy again,
I have uploaded a few more photographs. 1 in the 2009 folder  as well as 3 new photographs in the 2012 folder. In the 2012 folder you can see an example of a pin hole photograph that I explained  last week or so. It’s and interesting looking technique and has plenty of room for experimenting. I have been doing test runs myself and although I am not exactly where I want to be with it yet I thought that this one came out pretty interesting.
Another thing you may notice about one of my new images is that it is slightly out of focus. Well I did that on purpose and it is called a soft focus.  Sometimes I see a moment and I feel like it would be a little better and more interesting if it was slightly out of focus.  What is interesting and fun about soft focus is that if you do it just so, the printed image from a distance looks in focus but as you get closer and closer you can realize it’s out of focus. This is another fun and easy technique that is done in camera and will open doors for experimentation. The hardest part is seeing a moment that can be enhanced with this technique and after that  all you do if focus your image properly and then slightly rotate your focus  so it’s a little off and then voila, art is created!
Enjoy this little technique…it can be uber fun!
